More Top Products in CES 2004
We attend CES each year looking for the best products for our clients and readers. The following are a few of the top products we found at CES 2004.
Microsoft
SPOT Watch

Microsoft teamed up with Fossil and other watch makers to
create the SPOT watch in 2003. The watch receives personal information
real-time through an FM radio signal. First you build an information
profile on a SPOT web site. You need to select the weather,
news, sports, traffic, calendar, messages, financial information
of interest. Once your preferences are set, your SPOT watch
will collect the information wherever you are located. When
you get off a plane, all the local information will be updated
in your watch. SPOT stands for Smart Personal Object Technology,
Available Q1 2004. Estimated cost is $199-$400, plus monthly
service fee TBD.
Logitech Quick Cam Orbit

As you can tell, this webcam is very unique. It features a black, ball-shaped camera that sits atop a nine-inch-high stand at your eye level. Why? So that you'll get optimal face time during your video calls or video instant messaging (IM) sessions. And when you move, it actually follows you around! The QuickCam Orbit mechanically and automatically turns left and right for almost a 180-degree horizontal view or up and down for almost a 90-degree top-to-bottom view. So your smiling face will always stay in the picture. It is available now. MSRP is $129.
