As usual, CES was a crazy place in January. After walking the show floor and non-stop demos, here is the list of our Favorite Top 10+ Consumer Electronics and Technology products from the 2008 CES in Las Vegas.
150" HDTV Panasonic

The Panasonic 150" HDTV was the runaway hit of the show. It is the size of nine 50" Plasma HDTVs. You literally watched peoples' jaws drop when they saw the screen for the first time. And...NO, it is not for sale yet. The HDTV is only a proto-type and you cannot buy it yet :)

11" Sony XEL-1 OLED


North America's first Organic LED HDTV is wafer thin and light-weight. The screen is paper-thin at 3 mm thick. This was another jaw-dropping HDTV that you can buy later this year for $2,500.

Samsung NV24HD Camera

Hot little camera. Includes an OLED Viewer, Displays Photos on an HDTV Screen and 10MPs chip, 24mm wide angle lens Built-In and Records HD720p video. The Camera Price is estimated to be $350 and will be shipping in Q2.

Polaroid Mobile Photo Printer

The device is a very handy 8-ounce photo printer for someone on the go. It prints 2x3-inch photo stickers in 60 seconds without ink. It uses Zink (Zero Ink) technology. Fast, light-weight and fun to use. You can print mobile phone photos using bluetooth technology.
It will be available in the Q3 for $150. Photo paper is approximately $.30 per photo.

Wow! Sandisk announced the new 12GB MicroSD card for mobile phones and music/video players. No price or release date is available.

Amazon Kindle Book Reader

Amazon showed off the new Kindle Electronic Book Reader during the show. It is a great product for people who love to read and travel. You purchase books from Amazon by downloading them over the Sprint High-Speed Wireless Network. You do NOT need a PC or Mac to use this product.

Note: Sony also demonstrated their own eBook Reader at their booth. However, their product still requires an owner to sync with a PC to download books.

Lenovo IdeaPad Laptops

Lenovo is moving into the consumer market with three new IdeaPad Laptops. The new 11" model is very user-friendly. Some of the features include: an integrated camera with facial-recognition software, Dolby sound with four speakers and a subwoofer, an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, Frameless Screen, a Multimedia Control Center with touch-sensitive buttons and a GameZone keys with secondary display. The IdeaPad is available in a nice red color and a textured case finish.
The IdeaPad weighs 2.3 pounds. It is due out in April 2008 at $2,000.
