Samsung LED HDTVs
Wow! The new LED TVs are Ultra-thin, thin, thin! Samsung expects these HDTVs to be the new growth area for the industry. Expect to see them in stores by the Summer. Prices TBD.

Samsung 50" OLED HDTV
Samsung displayed new 50" OLED proto-type HDTVs in the show this year. Last year Sony had the only 11" OLED HDTV for sale and displayed a 27" OLED proto-type HDTV.

Yahoo TV Widget Channel

Look for Yahoo Widgets in many of the new LG, Toshiba and Samsung HDTVs in 2009. Widgets will include News, Entertainment, 3rd-Party Content and More. You may want to invest in Yahoo if this new strategy takes off.

New LG Wrist-Phone

The LG-GD910 is one of the top HOT products of the show. The LG Booth was packed with people wanting to see this new watch.

The phone is very small, just 0.6" thick and it has a 1.4" screen. The phone supports WiFi, Bluetooth and uses a 3G HSDPA 7.2 data networks. It ships in late 2009 to Europe. It will NOT be available in the US at this time.

Samsung Digital Cameras
Samsung did it again with two new award-wining point-and-shoot digital cameras.

The NV110 HD is a very powerful improvement from the model last year. The 14.7 MP, 28mm Wide-Angle Lens camera allows you to shoot HD videos, as well as still photos.

The NV9 is a light-weight ultra-small 10.2 MP digital camera has a 5x optical zoom, plays MP3 Music, Slide shows and Movies.

Both these cameras are on our short list of new cameras to buy this year
The Camera will be shipping in Q2.

Panasonic 3D HDTV
New 3D HDTVs from Panasonic (and other vendors) are NOT for sale... yet. However they are looking much improved from previous years at the show. Look for 3D HDTV in your home in the next 2-5 years.
